Flint Fireforge dropped on a rock covered with moss. Her bones of the nano held up for too long, and now not make it any more.
"I do not have to go" Flint muttered, looking at the valley below. He spoke aloud even if there was not a living soul. Long years of solitary wanderings had imposed the dwarf habit of talking to himself. He clapped his hands on his knees. "And I'm damned if I'll never leave again!" He announced with vehemence.

With these simple lines begins on the first novel of the Chronicles of entitled Dragonlance Dragons of Autumn Twilight. This saga that has changed in the early eighties, the American fantasy arrives in Italy in the early nineties and became for all fans of the genre a real cult.
A group of friends who meet after many years. A bet made by elements of low impact force but united by a strong bond and a kind of predestination come to know the meaning of the significant changes which would soon disrupt the world of Krynn.
The interesting aspect of the story is tied to a search of a faith that passing the "heroes" have done nothing to find and return to their country of origin the Inn of the Last Home. This aspect of the sacred lost has been replaced by a group of Seekers who have introduced new forms of useless beliefs. A quirky and likeable character is the mysterious key in this impending war between dragons "Paladine is one of the old gods, and kids. And 'long that no one loves it. " "Why did he go?" Asked the child. "It's gone," the old man, and his smile was sad. "They were the men to abandon it, after the dark days of the Cataclysm (...)"
born a new concept that relies on a "divine presence" who oversees the stories of ordinary characters, turning them into adventurers (typically thought Yankee and reduced the sentences In God We Trust and One Nation Under God popular American collective unconscious). This different view has undermined the myth of the hero perfect and indestructible that, normally, is far from an identification with the player. And if the reader does not "feel" the person close to him, the story gets too exciting and not doctrinal.
A dwarf, a Kender, twin brothers Caramon and Rainstlin, the half-elf Tanis, a paladin, a waitress and two barbarians to flight the armies of the Dragons, will be the protagonists of this story. As the first book
the saga appears to be a bit 'simple compared to the narrative style that the authors will develop later. Shares poems alternate with sudden and profound reflections. A book that is a must on the shelves of lovers of classic fantasy.
Very evocative poems and songs by Michael Williams and magnificent illustrations dell'inimitabile Larry Elmore known to fantasy fans around the world.

An interesting is that the writers Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, as a result of numerous authors epic sagas, the story began to play a game of the popular Dungeons & Dragons rolegame . From small things improvised, at times, come true and legends. The
